Let nature inspire you to get creative
Sally and Joe from #teamunplugged
Date: 04th September 2025
Time: 16:30
In this session #CUScotland organisers Joe and Sally will encourage us all to take inspiration from the beautiful natural environment around Auchengillan to create novel artworks. Using found objects from the site and other materials, we’ll be inking up our finds and ‘relief printing’ them onto a paper surface.
If the weather allows, we may also try cyanotype printing, an early form of photography, which uses sunlight to expose an image onto specially prepared paper.
No previous experience is necessary, just let nature be your guide!
Joe Crossland has a background in science publishing and population health comms and has been an unplugger since 2019. Joe is also a member of Glasgow Print Studio, where he specialises in screenprinting, using his own photography as a starting point to explore architectural forms.
