Comms Unplugged might just be the industry event of the year.
A comms person's retreat and opportunity to connect and develop in a unique setting.
Chat, listen and learn away from the distractions of phones, email, WiFi and tech. With inspirational speakers, motivational workshops and wellbeing activities, live music, food and an overnighter in a beautiful campsite in Dorset.
Is this work or a jolly, some will ask. It's work. But more than that - it's potentially career enhancing. Who ever said that our work can only take place indoors in dull, generic event spaces? How much more creative could we be in woodland campsite in Dorset?
Comms and PR has emerged in UK research as one of the most stressed industries to work in. Taking some quality learning and development time out to re-energise offers a bundle of health and well-being benefits. But it could also spark a fresh new approach to your work and career.
Not only could Comms UnPlugged be the comms professionals' event of the year, we think the ticket prices and options define it as the most cost-effective one too. Here's why…
Whether you're joining us on Thursday evening for the whole two-night shebang, Friday morning for a day and night getaway, or on a cheeky day ticket, your booking includes a full day of what promises to be a truly different and compelling line up. Friday features an inspiring professional development agenda plus a heap of wellbeing options which, combined, will motivate, excite, relax and energise you. Tasty, open-air lunch is a given.
If you're overnighting Friday, be entertained with evening acoustic sets round the camp fires and woken up with the option of a brisk (or leisurely - your choice!) walk in the Dorset countryside on Saturday morning - after your freshly-cooked bacon or veggie bap, of course!
All of the above, plus Friday brekky.
In short, from just £109 for public sector people you'll get, 2 nights camping accommodation, a day and a half of professional development and wellbeing, in a unique environment, with four meals. Still not booked - what are you waiting for?
Eating in the fresh air somehow makes everything tastes just that little bit better, don't you think? At Comms Unplugged, we have found some fab local caterers to prepare and serve tasty food to our lovely delegates, out in the open (we hope - marquees provide a back-up plan)
With bacon or veggie baps for breakfast, filled rolls for lunch and a selection of both wood-fired pizzas and site-cooked paella on offer for dinner, the Comms Unplugged culinary offer promises to be a treat.
On Friday night, choose from a mobile bar on-site (we'll arrange it, you'll need to pay for what you have) or bring your own tipple. Either way, there'll be no over'priced conference hotel bar charging you £8.50 for a small glass of pinot :-)
